Checklist before starting your online application

1. Find a Steward:

Please choose a steward who can support you through your application process, conduct the approval interview, and guide you on your journey with the RRDJ.

You can select your steward from the list further down the page, or choose the one you’ve already been in contact with.

PS: If you accessed this application form through a stewards personal page on Stewards.Services, the information will be prefilled for you.

 

2. Photo of Applicant (Passport-Style Preferred):

You will need to upload a passport-style photo during the application process. Please prepare a recent passport photo (taken within the last 6 months) of you. 

You can take your own passport photo, please use this guideline to help you and yes you are allowed to smile.

 

3. Are you Australian or an overseas resident?

This will setup the form and fill in the registration fee for you, please tick.

 
4. Payment of Registration Fee by Way of Gift:

AUD $ per person. Additional registration items are subject to assessment and may require a separate registration form.
You will need to upload proof of payment (screenshot or PDF) as part of your application.

Application to become a RRDJ Member

Once you've completed your preparation, filling out the following fields should be straightforward. If you still need assistance, please contact your chosen steward.

Absolute Title

This is the full title by which you will be known on the registry. This is the name your certificate of registration will denote: e.g. John of the House of Smith, John of the Clan Smith

Abstract Name

This is the name of the incorporated trust. E.g the name appearing on your birth certificate, driver’s license, passport, etc.

Coat of Arms - not mandatory anymore

If you have your own coat of arms and would like to include it to this application, please upload it using the button below.

File size not bigger than 5MB - allowed files are .jpg, .jpeg, .png

Residental Address

The actual physical address where you currently live. It will be used as your postal address and for service. You should notify the registry if your residential address changes.

Passport Photograph

We will need to have a recent passport photo (taken within the last 6 months) of you adjoining your application. 

You can take your own passport photo, please use this guideline to help you and yes you are allowed to smile an upload it underneath.

Proof of Payment

Please upload the proof of your payment in the field below.

Your Steward's details

To become a member, you'll need to participate in an interview with a steward. The steward will review your information and coordinate with you to schedule a convenient time for the interview.

You might have had interactions with a steward, so please pick his / her name from the dropdown list or look up your steward in your state.

When you submit your application, it will be sent to your steward to prepare for your interview. You will also receive a copy of this email along with a PDF generated from the information you provided.

How to Select Your Steward

You can either:

  • Start by selecting your steward, if you already know their name – just start typing in the steward name field.

OR

  • Choose the state first – click (or double-click) on your state, then click into the steward name field to reveal the available stewards for that location.

To reset and see the full list again, simply delete your selection from the steward name field.
